An recent opinion piece from the New York Times on The Business of Health Care Depends on Exploiting Doctors and Nurses.. Certainly has an interesting perspective when looking at the corporate milking of clinicians professional ethics to provide healthcare for all, the never-ending, mind-numbing and voluminous depths of EMR and its reaches, giant HMO’s influence and the abundance of administrators in the healthcare setting and lastly, the ever-impacting chronic clinician burnout.. definitely worth the read!
